World Asthma Day 2003, organized by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA), will be held May 6, 2003. The event represents a partnership between health care groups and respiratory educators to raise awareness about asthma.

2003 National Asthma Conference
Washington, D.C.

June 19-21, 2003

	An exciting multi-disciplinary program that will feature presentations examining clinical practices and community strategies designed to reduce asthma-related mortality and morbidity
	A faculty of renowned asthma experts who will be speaking at the National Conference on Asthma 2003
	Two extended open periods where the options will include unique community & clinical "grand rounds," poster presentations, roundtables, networking opportunities, and exhibits
	Continuing education credits for physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and health educators
	Satellite uplink of the opening morning's sessions for local communities to host their own videoconferences
	Two receptions open to all attendees
	A 5K fun run and walk
