Each year the number of caregivers continues to grow,
especially in the area of COPD. The role of caregiver to the
COPD patient can be demanding, exhausting, frustrating,
overwhelming and stressful.
The daily responsibilities of those who care for an ill loved
one are monumental. Because of the high demands, emotionally and
physically, it is of the utmost importance that the caregiver
have support, as well as take good care of themselves.
Here is a place where caregivers can share their feelings and
concerns in a supportive atmosphere of mutual understanding. In
the Chat Room and on the Message Board, you, as a caregiver,
will find others, much like yourself, who are dealing with the
same concerns and issues that go along with taking care of a
loved one.
