I was so happy to meet Jed's ladies, although it was a lousy way to do it. I came to consider Jed a friend and one of my go to guys in the short time I knew him. He'll be miss by all of ua, but there's a few of us that got extreemly close in a very short time.
I just got through with a bronch..pretty good report considering the work up. The stent seems to be well placed and holding, which is good news. A secong opinion is always good.

Janet And Girls,
I'm sure that I can say no more about your husband and father that has not already been said. Jed was such a caring person..To his family and to his friends...Even through his trying times he just seemed to be a pillar of strenght to all. He will continue to be strength to all. His knowledge, teachings, heart, and quick humor will continue to live on in everyones life that he has touched. I am touched to have met him and honored to have the privledge of his guidance. Our prayers are with you in your grief. i am pleased i had a chance to meet jim and get to know him better. All his miny efforts in COPD will always be an inspiration to those with the disease.

This is the nickname that Jed greeted when I was recently diagnosed with emphysema. The warmth and compassion he showed me in just the two times I spoke with him made me feel less alone in my newfound fight to endure something so new and frightening. I shall miss him and feel I know him through those who's lives he made a greater impact on.
